Building an Equal Community

My Mission
Equality is not just a value. It is a way of making decisions, working with others, and interacting with them. Equality requires concrete action on our part. Promoting equality is a legal obligation.
I believe that a truly equal community is one in which every individual has the opportunity to succeed and thrive. My training programme is designed to provide community leaders with tools that enable them to address issues of diversity, equality and inclusion in a safe and practical way.
By fostering a culture of mutual respect and shared responsibility, I empower organizations to move beyond tokenism and towards meaningful structural change. I provide the framework for leaders to implement DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) principles that are both ethically grounded and practically effective.
Benefits & Goals
01
Leadership Impact
Equiping community leaders with better tools to lead with equity and foster inclusive environments where everyone can thrive.
02
Structural Equity
To start the process of identifying and dismantling systemic barriers within your organization to ensure fair representation and opportunity for all.
03
Community Growth
Strengthening community bonds by creating a culture of mutual respect and belonging that empowers every individual member.

Coach
Backed by decades of professional experience working with diverse populations, with a special emphasis on minoritized communities, across various cultural environments and in multiple languages, I offer my expertise in DEI connected inquiries.
I hold a title of Docent in Religious Studies, specializing in Islamic studies, and serve as a visiting researcher at the University of Eastern Finland. I have extensively published scientific and general works on minoritized communities and equality, while also contributing as a public speaker. Additionally, I possess a dual degree in Social Services and Diaconal Work. I completed my DEI training as a MOD (FIN Moninaisuus-Oivallus-Dialogi, SWE Mångfald-Och-Dialog) instructor in 2021 at STEP Education's campus in Järvenpää Finland. My background allows for a unique, interdisciplinary approach to community building and DEI related questions.
The MOD (Diversity-Insight-Dialogue) method used in the training aims to promote equality and the realisation of human rights.
The MOD method is often described as a shared journey. It comprises five key areas: (1) openness, (2) human rights, (3) self-awareness, (4) diversity, norms and non-discrimination, and (5) inclusion and participation.
